There’s Nothing Better

Back in 2012

Friends, Ted Nager and Jay Nijjer partnered up and acquired the Candlewood Suites Boise, and Candlewood Suites Meridian. That was the start of more then a decade of expanding and improving TNB Hotels. That is where they started to build the team. Meeting Amber Rodriguez, who quickly rose to VP of Sales and Marketing. Chris Troxell, current Meridian GM and TNB Regional Director, and Jason Ball Current TNB Director of Operations.

Expansion

There were other properties along the way, but the jump into the Oregon Market started with forming a partnership with hospitality veteran Robert “Bob” Quinn in 2015 and acquiring and renovating the Holiday Inn Express in Ontario, Oregon.

Heading to the Southwest.

2016 brought TNB to the dessert. Taking them away from the PNW market and into Arizona. The acquisition came with a huge renovation of the rooms, restaurant and business center. Then the creation of new restaurant concept, the Glowbal.

2018 took TNB to Utah

Where we acquired a Comfort Inn and initiated the plan to turn it into the Four Points by Marriott Salt Lake City. After a huge remodel, it was a valuable addition to the vibrant Salt Lake City Market.

TNB made it’s way back to the Oregon Market but this time it was in bustling Bend, Oregon. Officially acquiring the Towneplace Suites Bend, and the Fairfield Inn Bend on New Years Day. After wethering the storm of Covid 19 shutdown, the two hotels are thriving. The Towneplace is currently under renovation with expected completion in Spring of 2024.

2023. We Head North.

With Ted and Jay being from Canada, the move to acquire a new hotel in the Great White North just made sense. The place that caught the eyes of TNB was a Days Inn in Airdrie, Alberta. Being 15 minutes from Calgary, the hotel itself presented many unique opportunities. So we made the move, and have finished conversion to a Fairfield By Marriott. An exciting next step for TNB.

and were not done yet.
